Welcome! You’re looking for a great family photographer, yes?
And you’re overwhelmed by how many there are to choose from? Yeah, me too.
OK. Let’s figure out if I’m the right family photographer for you, and what to expect . . . or if it’s time to click the next link on your Google search.
1. Do you like my style?
Browse my portfolio, and ask yourself . . . Do my images strike a chord with you? Can you picture similar photos of your own family gracing your walls? I am not the kind of photographer who swaps heads, or shrinks waistlines, or any other crazy things usually done with surgical tools. I believe we are beautiful the way we are, and I strive to create beautiful images of your family that are REAL. I believe that the best images show connection, not perfection.
2. Let’s Talk.
3. Let’s Meet.
I love to meet with new clients in their own home to get a sense of their style and family dynamics. We’ll discuss what you’re looking for, build a shot list and make note of any special requests you might have. It also gives your kids a chance to meet me so they feel more comfortable and at ease during our shoot. That means less stress for everyone, and better images.
4. Book It!
Once you’re ready to book, I’ll need your signed contract and retainer in order to reserve your session date. Because I only offer a limited number of sessions each month, they tend to fill up fast.
5. Your Shoot.
After you book, I’ll make sure you have all the tools you need to prepare for a fabulous photography experience. I’m here to give you advice on what to wear, how to prepare your kids for the experience, and the best kinds of bribes for good behavior. My goal is to make your session as comfortable and fun as possible.
6. Your V&O.
What’s a V&O? So glad you asked! It’s your own personal Viewing & Ordering consultation. This is when you get to see all the gorgeous images from your session. It’s also when you’ll choose what products you want to purchase, and we’ll place your order. I know it can sound stressful — making all those decisions in one sitting. But trust me. I know how to make it easy. And the best part? The BEST part is having all those decisions made so you don’t have them hanging over your heads for weeks on end, while everything else (laundry, dinner, bathtime, soccer practice) always seems to rise to the top of your to-do list. Seriously . . . I’m not the only one who never found the time to make prints with that disc of images in my drawer from a year ago.
Sound good? Great. Now all you have to do is contact me and I’ll take it from there.
